The Corp of Iluminat is the lead financial agency of the Republic of Lega Costa Rica under the Ministry of Finance. Under its charter, the Corporation De Iluminat is authorized to perform the following functions: managing its funds; developing policies to improve management effectiveness and overall performance of the organization; providing advisory or consultative services to members of the board of directors, including elected leaders and key executives; conducting seminars and workshops on matters relating to business operations, finance and economics; providing reports to the Board of Directors and the Congress on matters relating to the business and economic policies; and operating the Secretariat de Sociedades. The Secretariat has the responsibility of preparing reports to the Congress on behalf of the Corporation De Iluminat. In its work as the representative of the Corporation De Iluminat, the Secretariat performs a variety of tasks. The primary duty of the Secretariat is to prepare and issue reports to the board of directors, members of the staff and other stakeholders. The main purpose of the Annual General Meeting is the review and a general discussion of the year’s performance.
An important institution in the process of carrying out the business of the Secretariat of Lega Costa Rica, apart from the Corporation of the Secretariat of Lega Costa Rica, is the Pre-Publishers. Under this office, all the books and periodicals related to the publishing of texts in the language of the citizens of the Philippines, as well as all the books published in the archipelago of the Republic of Costa Rica, are published. The publisher of the said publications is obliged to comply with the standards of the Secretariat of Lega Costa Rica, and the condition of publishing the said books conforms to the requirements of the said institution. All the works of the said institution is approved by the Central Delegation of the Secretariat of Lega Costa Rica before being released to the public for sale. Such works include the texts translated into English, French, and Spanish.
The Secretariat of Lega Costa Rica, together with the Pre Publishers, under the Chairmanship of the Secretary of State of the Republic of Costa Rica, appoints the Editorial Delegator of the Corporation of the Secretariat of Lega Costa Rica, along with the Secretary of Public Service of the Department of Government of the Philippines. This is to ensure that the activities of the Secretariat of Lega Costa Rica and the Pre Publishers are conducted in conformity with the standards set forth by both bodies. The work of the Editorial Delegator and Secretary of State in this case pertains to ensuring that all the approved texts of the Legasan government are translated into English, Spanish, French, and other languages, according to the need of the people. This task is crucial in ensuring that the cultural diversity of the populace of the country is not compromised in any way. Inasmuch as it concerns the works of art in the country, the pre-publisher organizations, headed by the Secretary of State and the Executive Director of the Pre Publishers, are tasked to ensure that the quality of the works of art is preserved at all times.
In light of the fact that the Pre Publishters and the Secretariat of Lega Costa Rica have the duty to ensure the accurate and reliable translation of works produced in their country, it is to be noted that the two bodies have a lot of work in common. Both have an interest in the preservation of the rich cultural heritage of the people of the nation, and they also have a responsibility towards the well being of the people of the nation. As they themselves embody the values of the culture of the country, they have a duty to make sure that these are maintained at all times.
