Ajax Systems is a privately held business that was selling fire safety products to the public since 2021 and shouldn’t be mistaken with your local fire station or football team brand. The company is located in Ukraine, where R&D lies, but there are also offices around the globe. The founder, Oleksandr Pavlidis, received his degree from Harvard University in 1990, specializing in computer science, then worked as a computer programmer for Bell Labs in San Francisco. He earned a master’s degree in software engineering in 1994, working at the prestigious Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers in London, California. In 1996 he established his own consultancy, specializing in Internet architecture, and in particular developing websites.
Known to its Ajax System components, Ajax is a data-driven scripting language that enables interactive security products web pages to communicate interactively with each other. When Ajax was first developed by Pavlidis and some of his associates, it was designed for the purpose of allowing authors to create dynamic web pages without the need for programming knowledge. For years this meant that Ajax could be used on many forms of personal computers and operating systems. In 2021 a group of computer security experts started working on improving Ajax, and in the process discovered that it could be used for controlling multiple sets of security barriers through one hub.
This Ajax system hubs are controlled by a computer application that runs on either a browser or an embedded system like a smartphone or a tablet. When activated, Ajax hubs communicate with each other to configure various features. One of the most common uses for Ajax hubs is the installation of smart home security systems. An example of such a security system is the Alarm Hub, which provides the homeowner with a turn-key control over the main security features of the home. Homeowners simply install the Alarm Hub and it begins monitoring their home’s security.
The Alarm Hub has two major components: an interactive web page where a user can log into the system and set up various settings, and a physical component that is installed on the front door or window of the house. Once the app is installed, the user simply needs to push a button on the interactive web page and a web cam will then begin recording videos and images from the front or window of the house. At any time, they can play these videos back at any time. These videos are then sent via the internet wirelessly to the Alarm Hub’s computer server where they are stored.
The computer server then uses the information it has recorded to determine what type of action to take. If for instance, it determines that the person entering the home is not wearing a sufficient amount of protection, then it will not allow them to enter. If it determines that someone is attempting to break into the home or is doing work on the house that needs to be done, then it will send an alarm to the Alarm Hub. When the owner replies and confirms that there is indeed something wrong, then the Alarm Hub will then do its thing. There are actually eight main types of Alarm Hub sensors used, all of which have their own purpose and requirements.
The first of which is indoor/outdoor sensors. This is the type of Alarm Hub sensor which monitors for movement from inside the building and external motion from the exterior. This allows for complete automation of the entire system and, as such, it is by far the most popular. There are, however, other types of indoor/outdoor sensors available which can also be combined with one another to provide even greater protection. One of which is the smoke sensor, which works together with the motion sensors to detect if someone is lighting a cigarette or otherwise lighting a fire in a house.
Another type of Alarm Hub sensor is the perimeter detection alarm system. This type detects for movement around a property and will notify the control center if a breach has occurred. There are actually two types of perimeter sensors available, and both of them have their own sets of algorithms and calculations which determine the frequency of alerts that need to be given out. The first one is the magnetic detection sensor, which uses a coil on a circuit board to detect the presence of magnetic fields. This includes power lines, and magnetic fields around electrical appliances. Another type of Alarm Hub perimeter sensor is the infrared sensor, which works best with areas which have very low ceilings or otherwise are unreachable.
There are, of course, other types of Alarm Hub detectors available as well, and each of these sensors will serve a different purpose. There are, of course, certain factors which need to be considered when purchasing any of these Ajax systems alarm system components, such as what type of doors or windows you are protecting, and what kind of motion detectors you are using with your alarm system. Of course, one of the main things is that the motion detectors must be reliable and dependable, and must be able to work in all kinds of conditions.
